Marc Ziegler ( born June 13, 1976 in Blieskastel ) is a former German football goalkeeper.

Career

Beginnings in Stuttgart

He moved in 1994 to VfB Stuttgart. After goalkeeper Eike Immel many years held his place at VfB Stuttgart, to coach Rolf fringer 1995 decided to give a chance to young talent Ziegler goal of Swabia. Change to VfB Stuttgart

For the season 2010/11 Marc Ziegler returned to VfB Stuttgart, with whom he signed a contract until the end of June 2013. Ziegler was reserve goalkeeper behind Sven Ulrey at VfB. On 1 December 2010 he graduated in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League 2010/ 11 for the already qualified for the next round in Stuttgart against BSC Young Boys his first game after his return.
