Marcel Balsa

Marcel Balsa ( born January 1, 1909 in St. Frion, Creuse, † August 11, 1984 Maisons- Alfort ) was a French racing driver.

The Frenchman Marcel Balsa began his racing career after the Second World War on a ( 40 ) Used Bugatti T51, built in 1931, and was so successful in the French national race. He started only in a race to the automotive world championship. At the Grand Prix of Germany at the Nürburgring in 1952 he went with a Formula 2 DIY with BMW engine into the race, but retired in the seventh round. The victory went to Alberto Ascari in the Ferrari 500 Balsa won in 1953 a national formula race at Montlhery and then retired from racing.
