Marcel Odenkey Addy Desailly ( born September 7, 1968 in Accra, Ghana; originally Odonkey Abbey ) is a former French footballer.

Club career

The center-back started his career at FC Nantes, which he already joined the age of eleven, and until 1992 remained faithful. After one and a half years at Olympique Marseille, which at this time of the championship - it would Desaillys only title in Division 1 have been - has been revoked, he moved to AC Milan in November 1993; here he remained until 1998 before he organized the defense of Chelsea the next six years. Desailly 's athlete ambassador of development organization Right to Play. In 2011 he founded just outside of Accra, a youth soccer academy and built the The Lizzy Sports Complex in East Legon in Accra.
