Marcel Kandziora

Marcel Kandziora (born 4 February 1990 in Münster ( Westphalia ) ) is a German football player. He plays mostly defensive on the left of defense or midfield position.

In the club

Youth career

In youth Marcel Kandziora played for TuS old mountains before moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2004. There he went through the youth departments and came in the U -17 and U-19 Bundesliga used. During this time he stood with his young Borussia in four finals, which were, however, lost all of 2006 and 2007, the final of the German Youth B Championships and 2009 playoffs to the A- Youth Championship and the DFB Junior Club Cup.

Entry into the senior football

After that, he was at the beginning of the season 2009/10 part of the second seniors team that had risen in just the third league. With this, he played on 25 July 2009, his professional league debut when he came off the bench in the away game at Wacker Burghausen in the 84th minute for Mehmet Boztepe at a score of 3:3. Final score was 3:4 Dortmund from view. During the first 11 matchdays, he completed five games in which he was always on in the last half hour and scored two goals. Then he fell out with a meniscus injury for the rest of the season so far. After his injury, he was a regular for the reserve of Borussia on the field, but was able to secure a regular place. In his other 11 games he managed no more goal and he was four times each one and replaced. Three times he came through the full 90 minutes to use. The series he finished with his team at the 18th place in the standings and thus rose from the Regionalliga West. In this division he was then a regular player, but came now, after he was usually summoned in his debut season in the defensive or left midfield, mostly as a left-back is used. With Dortmund's reserve, he finished 6th place and thus missed the resurgence.

Nevertheless, he made ​​the leap back into professional football since he joined the 2011/12 season for SV Sandhausen in the third league. At first, he played on the left midfield position and was often on or replaced. Finally, however, he established himself as a left-back in the root of the team and won with the team's third league championship, which meant the walkover in the 2nd Bundesliga for him. After the descent of the SV Sandhausen in the 3rd Liga in 2013 Kandziora moved to second division FSV Frankfurt, where he signed a two-year contract.

In the National Team

His only previous games in the German national team graduated Kandziora 2007 in two friendly matches for the U-18 selection of the DFB -matched against the Irish.
