Marcel Lapierre

Marcel Lapierre (* April 17, 1950, † 11 October 2010) was a French winemaker.

Marcel Lapierre took over in 1973 the family-owned Domaine Des Chenes in Villié Morgon, later the Château Cambon in St. Jean d' Ardières.

He was considered a pioneer of natural winemaking and developed from 1981 onwards with Jules Chauvet today modern methods, in particular the low-sulfur Beaujolais wines. Marcel Lapierre was a member of the AVN ( Association des Vins Naturels ).
