Marcel Podszus

Marcel Podszus ( born August 20, 1976 in Viersen ) is a German football player.

Career

Marcel Podszus began his career at the 1 FC Viersen. After various changes of the attackers was arrested in 2003 from Borussia Mönchengladbach under contract. There he played in the 2003/04 season four games in the Bundesliga. After three years at Fortuna Dusseldorf Marcel Podszus moved in summer 2007 to 1.FC Kleve. 2008, the rise from the Oberliga Nordrhein where he succeeded to the Regionalliga West. With his 19 goals this season, he played a significant role in this biggest success in club history the first FC Kleve. The following year, the striker shot while again eleven goals in 29 games this season, but it was unable to prevent even straight back down. Then Podszus left the club.

On 12 June 2009 Borussia Moenchengladbach announced the commitment of the now 32 -year-olds. Marcel Podzus initially received a one-year contract with an option, and after a decent extended a year later to 2012. In July 2012, he moved to VfB Speldorf.
