Marcel Ziemer

Marcel Ziemer ( born August 3, 1985 in Worms ) is a German football player.

Career

Ziemer moved in 2004 from TuS Neuhausen to the amateurs of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern, for which he played 31 matches and scored six goals. In 2006 he received a professional contract after he had graduated in the 2005/06 season already two inserts (two goals) in the Bundesliga. On 23 Matchday he scored his first goal in the 2006/07 season in a 4-0 home win against FCK game Unterhaching.

Matchday 34 and thus the last of the season 2007/ 08 he scored in the second half, the " final " against Cologne, the two decisive goals to 2:0 and 3:0, and thus sealed the relegation of the Palatinate in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the summer 2008, he extended his professional contract until 2010. During the winter break Ziemer was loaned to the end of the season league rivals Wehen, the fixed signed him in the summer of 2009, after he had briefly trained at the back with FCK and with a contract until 2011 endowed. For the 2011/12 season he transferred to 1 FC Saarbrücken.
