Marcelinho da Lua

Marcelinho da Lua is a Brazilian disc jockey from Rio de Janeiro. Da Lua is best known for his song Tranqüilo! from his eponymous debut album. This song was used in the soundtrack 06 the video game FIFA from EA Sports. His music is influenced by reggae, electronic and Latin influences.


Da Lua played along with several other Brazilian DJ's, such as Black Alien, Seu Jorge, Mauro Berman, Rafael Ramos, Gilberto Gil and Chico Buarque.


Published in 2003, Marcelinho da Lua his debut album " Tranqüilo! " Which contains 11 songs, including the eponymous song, which is included in the soundtrack of the video game FIFA 06. The album was released under the label Discmedi. A year later published da Lua with producer Mad Professor his second studio album, Mad Professor meets Marcelinho da Lua.
