Marcella Bella

Marcella Bella ( born June 18, 1952 in Catania, Sicily ) is an Italian singer.

She is the sister of singer Gianni Bella, who also wrote many of their hits.

Her breakthrough came in 1972 at the Sanremo Festival with the song Montagne verdi, Rita Pavone recorded in French. Her song Canto straniero was taken by Nino de Angelo in German language. She herself has taken many of their successes in Spanish.

1974 and 1976 she was voted singer of the year in Italy. In 1973, she won the competition Festivalbar. At the Sanremo Festival, she participated eight times.
