Marcello Abbado
Marcello Abbado ( born October 7, 1926 in Milan ) is an Italian composer and pianist.
He was born into a musical family: He is the son of Michelangelo, brother of Claudio Abbado and the father of Roberto Abbado.
From 1958 to 1966 he taught at the State Conservatory Giuseppe Nicolini in Piacenza. He then moved to the State Conservatory Gioacchino Rossini in Pesaro, where he worked from 1966 to 1972, and finally from 1972 to 1996 to the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan.
