Marcia Moretto

Marcia Moretto ( * 1949, † 1981 in Paris) was an Argentine dancer, choreographer and theater director.

Life

Moretto worked from mid-1970s closely with the Spanish playwrights Armando Llamas. In the Paris suburb Sartrouville she taught dance. With one of her students, Catherine Ringer, she brought Llamas ' piece " Silences Nocturnes aux îles des fées " to the stage in 1976 in "Cafe de la Gare " and 1977 in the theater " Le Palace " on the occasion of the festival " Trans - Théâtres " came to the performance.

Ringer, later even successfully with the duo Rita Mitsouko Marcia Baila their dedicated the song, which was for the band the commercial breakthrough.

Moretto died in 1981 at the age of 32 years at a rapidly progressing cancer.
