Marcial Pina

Marcial Pina Manuel Morales ( born August 23, 1946 in Barzana de Quirós, Asturias ) is a retired Spanish footballer.

Career

The midfielder played from 1964 to 1966 for FC Elche. In 1966 he moved to Espanyol, after a further three years to local rivals FC Barcelona. With FC Barcelona he won the Spanish Cup in 1971 and the Fairs Cup. In the 1973/74 season they won the Spanish Championship, Pina was this second scorer behind Quini. In 1977 he left Barcelona and joined Atlético Madrid, where in 1980 he ended his career.

For the Spanish national team, he played 1966-1975 15 games. His first game was a 0-0 draw against Ireland on 23 October 1966.
