Marcin Kuźba

Marcin Krzysztof Kuźba ( born April 15, 1977 in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland ) is a former Polish football player.

Club career

Kuźba began his professional career at the Polish Gornik Zabrze record champions. Here he completed the age of 18 in his first professional season (1995 /1996) equal to 26 games and scored 8 goals. After two strong seasons for Gornik Zabrze in 1998, he moved to France to AJ Auxerre. However, the young striker in Auxerre could convince her and was sold at the end of the season Swiss club Lausanne-Sports. In Switzerland, he could pick up where old times and scored 35 goals in 70 games for the Swiss. From 2001 to 2002 Kuźba played again in France. This time at AS Saint- Étienne. His goal tally ( 3 goals in 26 games ), however, was again not convincing, so he changed the end of 2002 to Poland Wisła Kraków. In the 2002/2003 season he scored 21 goals in 27 games for Krakow and was third in the scoring charts ( behind Stanko Svitlica with 24 goals and Maciej Żurawski with 22 goals ). From 2003 to 2004 he played for Olympiakos Piraeus in Greece. However, he was chased by the bad luck with injuries and completed only nine games in which he scored five goals. After returning to Krakow, he did not come beyond the reserve player and ended after a short stint with Gornik Zabrze in 2007 his career.

National

For the Polish national football team played a total of Marcin Kuźba 6 games ( 2 goals). However, he never played in a World Cup or European Championship.
