Marco Albarello

Marco albarello ( born May 31, 1960 in Aosta ) is an Italian former cross-country skier.

He was in the late 1980s and in the 1990s, to the best cross-country skiers ever. So he became world champion in 1987 over 15 kilometers for the World Cup. At the Olympics 1994 he won together with the Italian relay gold medal ahead of the favored Norwegians.

After ending his active career athletes albarello is Sergeant Major in the sports promotion group of the Italian Alpini. He was head of the area of ​​the Nordic disciplines.
