Marco Arment

Marco Arment (born 11 June 1982) is an American iOS developer and web designer, as well as a magazine writer and editor. He lives in Westchester, New York, is the founder of Instapaper and co-founder of Tumblr.

Career

Arment attended Allegheny College in Meadville (Pennsylvania). He has worked since its founding in February 2007 as a lead developer on the blogging platform Tumblr. September 2010 he left Tumblr to completely concentrate on Instapaper, a bookmark and reading service. Arment announced on April 25, 2013 announced that it has sold to Instapaper Beta Works.

Between November 2010 and December 2012 the " Build and Analyze" podcast produced Arment with Dan Benjamin at 5by5 Studios network.

In October 2012 published Arment The Magazine, which is a about a week appearing exclusively for iOS developed Magazine.
