Marco Cribari

Marco Cribari (born 7 July 1985 in Zurich ) is a former Swiss track and field athlete. The Sprinter was launched for LC Zurich and was several times Swiss champion and multiple participants at major international events. He is also co-owner of Swiss record of the 4 × 100 m relay.

Until he was 18 years old, played Cribari football, then he concentrated on athletics. At the European Championships in 2006, he took part in the 200 -meter run and was a member of the Swiss 4 × 100 m relay. In 2007 he finished fifth at the U23 European Championships in the 200 -meter run and was Swiss champion in the 100 -meter run. At the 2007 World Championships he finished in 25th place in the 200 meters. In 2008 he repeated his success in the Swiss championship in the 100 meters. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he retired about 200 meters from the inlet port. The following year, he was over 200 meters Swiss champion and reached over the same distance the intermediate run at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin. The end of August of the same year, he put together with Pascal Mancini, Marc Schneeberger and Reto Amaru leg with a time of 38.78 s a new Swiss record of the 4 × 100 m relay on, the stock had nearly a year.
