Marco Ferrante

Marco Ferrante ( born February 4, 1971 in Velletri ) is a retired Italian footballer. He was known especially for his numerous club change and its many doors for Torino Calcio.

Career

The one born in Velletri, a town in the province of Rome Ferrante began his career in 1988 at SSC Napoli. In two years he graduated from there only one league use. In his next stations Reggiana and AC Pisa he became an important part of the team. In 1992 he returned to Naples and stayed this time largely unsuccessful. After only six months in January 1993 he signed a contract with AC Parma. After eleven scoreless for Ferrante games in Serie A, he left the club and moved to Piacenza Calcio. The striker was also in Piacenza expectations not just and only scored four goals this season. In the summer of 1995 he found a new employer at Salernitana sport.

In the 1995/96 season he scored six goals for Salernitana and was sold to FC Turin. Of the people of Turin initially considered only as a cheap alternative, beat the striker to the surprise of the club excellently and scored in the following years many goals. In the 1998/99 season he scored in the second-rate series B a total of 27 hits, which he contributed a large proportion to the rise of Turin in Serie A. In 2001 he moved to Inter Milan a surprise. In the summer of 2004 he moved to Catania, where he scored five goals. After a few months he returned with the obligation to FC Bologna in the top flight. When Emilian club he had six operations and remained without a goal. In the season 2005/ 06 was followed by the transfer to Ascoli Calcio his last change within Serie A. With eight hits for Ascoli he had a share of 10th place at that season. In the season 2006/ 07 he trailed off his long career in the second division Pescara Calcio and Hellas Verona.
