Marco Marcato
Marco Marcato (born 11 February 1984) is an Italian racing cyclist.
Marco Marcato began his career in 2005 with the Italian cycling team Androni Giocattoli -3C Casalinghi. In his first year there, he got to choose a stage of the Tour of Slovenia for themselves. A year later he won a section at the Vuelta a Chihuahua in Mexico. At the Grand Prix Pino Cerami he took the second place and in the Rhineland -Palatinate Tour he finished seventh overall. His most significant victory to date, he celebrated in 2012, when he was Paris-Tours win, after he had previously finished second in the year.
