Marco Matias

Marco Matias ( born June 17, 1975 in Solingen ) is a singer, of the German vote in 2003, has become known in Germany by the talent show.

Marco Matias is the son of Portuguese immigrants who came in the 1970s by Germany. First stage experience he gained at the age of 10 years as a juggler, artist and clown in the circus Banaba. Later he joined with his brother Jorge as a singing duo. His first band was called Lua cheia, in which he joined at age 16. The first studio experience gained Marco with his school band, The Basement Kids, with whom he recorded the first CD Cry for Peace. After high school he studied Romance languages ​​and English in Cologne, by the way he performed in clubs and bars. During this time, the contact to the a cappella ensemble Voice Sings from Cologne, with which he made ​​numerous appearances revealed.

In 2000 Marco took with his new band Atlanticos in Portugal at the " International Festival Jovem the Comunidades Portuguesas 2000 '( Youth Festival of the Portuguese Communities ) part, which was broadcast live.
