Marco Motta ( born May 14, 1986 in Merate ) is an Italian footballer who mainly plays in defense and is under contract at Juventus, but is currently playing on loan at Genoa.

Career
Association
Motta began his career at Atalanta, where he first came into use in various youth teams. Since summer 2005 he is under contract with Udinese Calcio and was on loan for the 2007 /08 season to FC Turin.
On February 1, 2009 it gave Udinese League to rivals AS Roma, on February 8, 2009, he celebrated the 3-0 victory in the match against Genoa his debut for the capital city. In the summer of 2009, the Roma bought half of his transfer rights committed Motta so on.
In June 2010, the business was dissolved participation to Gusten Udinese again. In early July Motta moved on loan to Juventus. The giants had an option to buy, he perceived, on 22 June 2011. Motta signed with the people of Turin a four -year contract until 30 June 2015 and cost 3.75 million euros transfer fee.
After he had not come under the new Juve coach Antonio Conte in the first half of the season 2011/12 for use, Motta was given for the return series to the league rivals Catania Calcio. For the 2012/13 season Motta was further awarded to FC Bologna.
On January 23, 2014 Motta on loan until the end of the 2013/14 season at the Genoa.
National
Motta went through from the Italian U-16 selection all Italian national teams and counted while in the U-21 team to the permanent staff, for which he was active in a total of 31 games between 2005 and 2009. With this addition, he participated in the 2007 European part and was also in the squad for the Euro 2009. On 10 August 2010 Motta made his debut in the Italian senior team, as he stood in the starting lineup of the Azzurri in the friendly match against Ivory Coast.
