Marco Palmezzano

Marco Palmezzano (* 1456 in Forli, † 1539 ) was an Italian painter and architect of the Renaissance.

Life

Palmezzano took over the style of his master Melozzo da Forli (1438-1494) and completed some of the frescoes. Later he was under the influence of various painters, including that of Andrea Mantegna ( 1431-1506 ). He left a large number of images, most with religious themes and some portraits.
