Marco Parolo

Marco Parolo (born 25 January 1985 in Gallarate, Italy ) is an Italian footballer who is currently under contract at FC Parma.

Career

Association

Parolo comes from the youth of Calcio Como. In 2004 he was accepted into the professional squad and completed his first full season. after this he moved to AC Pistoiese, for which he spent two years running. After two additional one-year positions at Foligno Calcio and Hellas Verona in 2009 he joined AC Cesena. With this he succeeded in the season 2009/10 promotion to Serie A, where Cesena held two years and Parolo made ​​the breakthrough in professional football. After the descent Cesena in season 2011/12 he moved to FC Parma and established himself as a regular player.

National

After Parolo was never used for a youth selection of Italy, he was nominated Cesare Prandelli for the European Championship qualifier against Slovenia on 25 March 2011 and the friendly game against Ukraine on 29 March. In the latter, he came to his only previous commitment to the national team when he came on in the 88th minute for Claudio Marchisio.
