Marco Pichlmayer

Marco Pichlmayer ( born July 27, 1987 in Bad Aussee) is an Austrian Nordic combined.

Pichlmayer goes for the WSC Bad Mitterndorf at the start. After initial successes in student competitions and in Austriacup he finally got into the A-team of the Austrian Ski Federation. In World Junior Championships he won in 2006, the silver medal in the team competition and the silver medal in the 2007 Gundersen competition as well as the gold medal in the team event. In the B- World Cup Nordic Combined Pichlmayer was the first time in January 2005 at the start. In the 2007 /08 season with three individual victories he achieved the superior winning in the standings. In A World Cup he was the first time in March 2006 at the start, his best result being a 6th place in Chaux- Neuve on 1 February 2009.
