Marco Risi

Marco Risi ( born 24 July 1951 in Milan ) is an Italian film director.

Marco Risi is the son of director Dino Risi. He broke off to study philosophy and began as an assistant director with his uncle Nelo Risi for Una Stagione all'infernound (1970 ) Duccio Tessari and for Zorro (1975). With his father and for him, he wrote co-wrote his first screenplay Caro papà (1979). In 1982 he brought his first feature film Vado a vivere da solo out. In 1991 he received for survival in Palermo (1990), the David di Donatello for Best Director. In 1992 he founded with Maurizio Tedesco production company Sorpasso film. The co-produced with this company movie The unleashed New Year's Eve was nominated for the David.
