Marco Rose

Marco Rose ( born September 11, 1976 in Leipzig ) is a German former football player and a grandson of former national player Walter Rose.

Biography

The defender started his professional career at Lok Leipzig, which he joined in 1987 and for its successor VfB Leipzig ten second division games later he denied. In 2000, Rose for Hannover 96 with the Lower Saxony rose in 2002 rose up in the Bundesliga, but joined initially on loan back to the Second Bundesliga 1 FSV Mainz 05 2003 Rose was loaned out again by the people of Mainz, before they left the defenders 2004 after promotion to the Bundesliga firmly committed. In the second half of 2004/ 05 Rose lost his starting place to Benjamin Weigelt, however these recaptured a year later.

In 2010 he finished his pro career and acted from the 2010/11 season as an assistant coach and player of the second team from Mainz 05

On 1 June 2012, he was hired as the new coach of Lok Leipzig. The club he led in the 2012/13 season to avoid relegation in the Regionalliga Nord. After the season he left Lok Leipzig prematurely.

In July 2013 he moved to FC Red Bull Salzburg to Austria, whose U -16 ( B- youth) he trains.
