Marco Scandella
Marco Scandella (born 23 February 1990 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League under contract and playing in parallel for their farm team Houston Aeros in the American Hockey League. His uncle Sergio Momesso and his brother Giulio Scandella were also professional hockey players.
Career
Marco Scandella began his career as a hockey player with the Foreurs de Val- d'Or, for which he was active in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL 2007-2010. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2008 in the second round than a total of 55 players from the Minnesota Wild. For their farm team Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League the defender was late in the season 2008/09, made his debut at senior level. The following season, he finished with the Aeros in the AHL. In the season 2010/11 the Canadians ran the first time for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League. In 20 games, he prepared it before two goals, but came mainly continue for the AHL farm team Houston Aeros used. In the season 2011/12 the first time he was able to fight for a place in the NHL team the Minnesota Wild.
Internationally
For Canada Scandella took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2008 and the Under-20 Junior World Cup in 2010. In the 2008 U18 World Cup he won with his team the gold, at the 2010 U20 World Championship silver medal.
