Marco Verratti (* November 5, 1992 in Pescara ) is an Italian football player.

Career

In the club

Verratti began his career with Delfino Pescara 1936., Where he was in the 2008 /09 season at the age of 16 years his professional debut in the third-class Lega Pro Prima Divisione. The following season he came to more and more missions and, despite his young age has become an important player of his team, which he managed through the playoffs to move up to the B series. In the season 2011/12 Verratti succeeded with his team promotion to the Serie A.

In the summer 2012, he was hired by the French first division side Paris Saint- Germain. The transfer fee is said to have stood at around 13 million euros.

In the National Team

Since 2012 Verratti playing for the U- 21 team in Italy. In June 2013 he was awarded with the Devis Mangia trained team at the European Championships in Israel the runner-up after one had to be beaten with 2:4 in the final of Spain.

In May 2012, he was appointed by Cesare Prandelli in the preliminary squad of the Italians, but not in the final for the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine. However, since the end of this he has been a permanent staff in the squad. In his third appearance, on 6 February 2013 match against the Netherlands, scored Verratti in the 1-1 draw in Amsterdam his first goal for the Azzurri.
