Marco Villa

Marco Villa ( born February 8, 1969 in Abbiategrasso ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.

Marco Villa was a professional racing driver in 1993. Together with Silvio Martinello he won the bronze medal in the two - team driving in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, and together with this, the 1995 and 1996 World Cup in the same discipline. With 24 wins, the most in common with Silvio Martinello, Villa is Italy's second most successful six-day rider of all time.

2008 Villa wanted to start in the Olympics again. In a routine examination in July 2008, however, the doctors diagnosed a heart condition, so he resigned from active cycling immediately.
