Marcolino Moco

JC Marcolino Moco ( born 1953 ) is an Angolan politician.

Between 1989 and 1992 Moco worked as Minister of Youth and Sports. He resigned this position to become prime minister of the State of Angola on December 2, 1992. He held that office for a legislative period, until June 3, 1996 held.

In July 1996 he became the first secretary in the recently created Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries ( CPLP ), which he remained until 2000.

Moco is a member of the MPLA which has ruled the country since its independence in 1975.
