Marcus Annius Verus Caesar

Marcus Annius Verus Caesar (* 162, † 10 September 169) was one of at least 13 children of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius and his wife Faustina.

On October 12, 166 of the four-year Annius Verus was to Caesar raised only heir to the throne. He died on 10 September 169 in Rome of natural causes. His father's successor was his brother Commodus, who had also received the 166 Caesar title.
