Marcus Cleverly ( born June 15, 1981 in Hillerød, Denmark ) is a Danish handball player.

Cleverly played between 2001 and 2003 the Danish club team Helsinge. Subsequently, the handball goalkeeper was a season in the gate of the Danish first division club FCK Håndbold, with whom he participated in the EHF Challenge Cup. In 2004, the German second division increased Cleverly TSG Oßweil. In January 2005, he joined the second division TV Emsdetten. In summer 2009, Cleverly signed a contract with the Polish first division Vive Kielce. With Kielce he won in 2010 and 2012, the Polish Championship, and in 2010, 2011 and 2012 the Polish Cup competition. In February 2013 Cleverly left prematurely Kielce and joined the Swedish first division LUGI HF. For the 2013/14 season he moved to German Bundesliga side HSV Hamburg. From the summer of 2014, he stands in the gate of KIF Kolding Håndbold.

Marcus Cleverly has denied previous 30 caps for the Danish national team. He belonged to the Danish squad selection, which took part in the European Handball Championship 2012 in Serbia and won the title. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London.
