Marcus Cocceius Nerva (consul 36 BC)

Marcus Cocceius Nerva was a politician of the late Roman Republic, 36 BC Consul and the great-grandfather of the Emperor Nerva.

Life

The Marcus Cocceius Nerva family came from Umbria. There are get from it embossed silver coins, on which the name and the portrait of the triumvirs Octavian and Mark Antony appear.
