Marcus Goree

Marcus Goree ( born October 11, 1977 in Dallas, Texas ) is an American professional basketball player who is used to the position of power forwards. The Russian club CSKA PBK from Moscow he won the ULEB Euro League 2007 / 08 and also national championships in Israel, Italy and Russia. He was also active three seasons in the German Basketball Bundesliga, where he in 2002 and the New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig from 2011 each reached the cup final with the Opel Skyliners Frankfurt.

Career

The 2.03 m wide Goree, who was trained from 1996 to 2000 in the NCAA at West Virginia University, began his professional career in France with STB Le Havre, where he was an average of 38 minutes per game on the field and averaged 18 points and could contribute 9 rebounds. After just one year left Goree France and signed a one-year contract with the Opel Skyliners Frankfurt, where he struck immediately, and developed with 19.5 points and 9.28 rebounds per game as one of the best players in the league. In addition, he was nominated for the BBL All-Star Game that same year and was also able to gain experience in the highest European League ULEB Euro League.
