Marcus Haislip

Marcus Haislip ( born December 22, 1980 in Lewisburg, Tennessee ) is an American professional basketball player who plays at a height of 2.08 m on the position of power forward.

Career

Haislip began playing basketball at the Marshall High School in his hometown of Lewisburg, Tennessee. In 1999 he moved to the University of Tennessee, where he was active for three years. After Haislip was elected in 2002 at the NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks in 13th place, he joined the NBA, where he was two years with the Bucks, and another season with the Indiana Pacers under contract. 2005 Haislip moved first to Europe. In Turkey, he played for Fenerbahçe Ülkerspor and Efes Pilsen, debuted in the ULEB Euro League and won with Efes Pilsen Turkish Cup, which should be the first title of his professional career. After two more seasons with Unicaja Malaga and a renewed commitment in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, Haislip moved in January 2010 to the Greek top club Panathinaikos Athens.
