Marcus Lantz

Marcus Lantz ( born October 23, 1975 in Helsingborg) is a Swedish football player and coach, who played five years for Hansa Rostock. He was also at various Swedish, Danish and Italian clubs under contract.

Lantz began at Ifö / Bromölla IF with the football game. As a 18- year-old he joined the Swedish first division club Helsingborgs IF. In 1999 he went to Torino Calcio in the Italian Serie A. However, since he could not prevail there, he left the Italians again after a few months and signed in December 1999 Hansa Rostock. For the Baltic Sea townspeople he graduated to the descent 2005 164 games in the Bundesliga, scoring six goals.

2005 Michael Laudrup took the free transfer Lantz to Denmark Brøndby IF. Due to an injury in his second year at the club he had to sit for a long time. At the end of the transfer window in the summer of 2007 he returned to Sweden to Helsingborgs IF in the Allsvenskan back.

For the Swedish national football team in 1998 he gave his debut against the USA, but came to a total of only six missions for his country.

For the 2013 season changed Lantz as coach of the Under-21 youth team to Örgryte IS.
