Marcus Lauesen

Marcus Lauesen ( born November 22, 1907 in Løjt Kirkeby, † October 14, 1975 in Copenhagen) was a Danish writer.

Lauesen wrote poems, short stories and novels. He is regarded as a chronicler of the Danish minority in Southern Jutland during the First World War. Particularly well known, his novel " Og nu vi venter paa skib " ( German "And now we are waiting for the ship " ) of 1931.

Lauesen, who worked as a newspaper critics in Sweden, won numerous literary awards.
