Marcus Ummidius Quadratus Annianus

Marcus Ummidius Quadratus (* 138/139 ) was a Roman politician and senator of the 2nd century AD

Quadratus came from a high noble family, which belonged to 40 AD of the leading families of Rome since the Suffektkonsulat of Gaius Ummidius Durmius Quadratus. His father was Ummidius Quadratus, Suffektkonsul to 146, his mother was Annia Faustina Cornificia; she was the sister of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius. Marcus Claudius Ummidius Quadratus, conspirators against Emperor Commodus, should have been his adopted son. From the career of the quadratus only the ordinary consulate is known that he held in the year 167, together with Lucius Verus.
