Mare Frigoris

The Mare Frigoris (Lat. "Sea of ​​Cold ") is a "lunar sea " on the near side of the moon.

It extends north of Mare Imbrium and the Mare Serenitatis, outside the Procellarum basin.

The Mare is located on the selenographic coordinates 56 ° 00 ' N; 1 ° 24 ' E. Its mean diameter is 1596 km.
