Marek Dziuba

Marek Dziuba ( born December 19, 1955 in Łódź, Poland ) is a former Polish footballer and coach.

Club career

Marek Dziuba began his professional career in his hometown of Łódź during Łódzki KS. Here he played a total of eleven years. However, a club titles he never had at that time. So he moved in 1984 to the city rivals Widzew Łódź. Here he won the Polish Cup in his first season. However, this remained the only club title. In 1987, he was allowed, however, already 32 years old, move abroad to Belgium. He played five seasons for VV St. Truiden.

National

From 1977 to 1984 Dziuba completed for the Polish national team 53 A- international matches in which he scored a goal. He took part in the 1982 World Cup Poland, in which he won the third place with the team.

Coaching career

Dziuba trained, among others, the Łódzki KS and Widzew Łódź. With ŁKS he won the 1998 Polish Championship and was with Widzew 1999 Polish vice-champion.
