Marek Piwowski
Marek Piwowski ( born October 24, 1935 in Warsaw) is a Polish film director and screenwriter.
Marek Piwowski studied journalism in Warsaw and completed these studies in 1963. Subsequently, he began studying directing at the Film School in Łódź, where he graduated in 1968. While still a student in Lodz, he began his directing career with smaller documentaries. His feature film debut was in 1970 with the film Rejs, which is still one of the legendary cult films of Polish cinema. Besides his work as a feature film director and screenwriter Piwowski worked until 1982 as a documentary filmmaker. Even his films, he always gives a documentary style.
