Marek Posmyk

Marek Posmyk ( born September 15, 1978 in Jihlava, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Litvinov of the Czech Extraliga since April 2012.

Career

Marek Posmyk began his career in 1995 when HC Dukla Jihlava, for which he completed a total of 42 games in his first two seasons with the seniors in the Extraliga. Towards the end of the season 1996/97 he moved overseas and played in the current season two games with the St. John 's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League. The following season began with the Czech Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League, before he even returned to the same winter to the St. John 's Maple Leafs, where he stayed two more season. At the turn of the century Marek Posmyk debuted in the National Hockey League. There he stood for the Tampa Bay Lightning for 18 match on the ice, in which he reached three points scorer (one goal and two Torvorbereitungen ). In the season 2000/ 01 he defended both again for the Detroit Vipers as well as a game for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

2001 He returned to Europe, where he was engaged in virtually the next nine years to two trip to Nuremberg and Linz exclusively with Czech first division. Zlín, Slavia Prague, Plzeň, České Budějovice, Pardubice and Mladá Boleslav were after his return, the stations in the highest league of his country. In the 2009/10 season, he laced up skates for the KLH Chomutov. 2003 celebrated the defensive specialist, after he completed a playoff series with seven points scorer, with the HC Slavia Prague the championship. Overall, he brought it in their domestic league scorer at about 80 points.

In summer 2010 Posmyk left for the third time his Czech homeland and first played in the Lusatian foxes from the 2nd Hockey League, before he moved to the Serie A1 after his sample contract early November 2010 to Italy. In the SG Cortina he brought along with his compatriot Daniel Branda new wind into the team and has been named in the month of his commitment to "Defender of the Month". Finally, he missed with Cortina but just the playoff participation. This was followed by the change to league rivals HC Val Pusteria, in which he was, however, free before start of the season due to lack of services. Only in December 2011, he was with the HC Kladno a new employer, for whom he played 16 Extraliga games. End of April 2012, he was committed for the 2012/13 season from HC Litvinov.

Marek Posmyk came at the U18 European Junior Championship 1996 Junior World Championships 1997 are used.
