Marek Sapara

Marek Sapara ( born July 31, 1982 in Košice ) is a Slovak football player.

Club career

Slovakia

Marek Sapara began his career in Kosice, where he attended a sports school. In the season 1999/2000 he was with the team from VSS Košice win the national youth championship, after which obliged him 1.FC Kosice. After a brief loan to the third-rate club Krasna nad Hornádom he could finally establish in Košice.

In 2001 Sapara had to do his statutory military service in Košice. Although he was stationed in his home, he could rarely attend the training and thus lost its status as a regular player. After the end of the nine -month military service, the sporting situation of his association had so deteriorated that Sapara pushed for a change.

The sporty new orientation led him to MFK Ruzomberok, although some other clubs from the Czech Republic and Slovakia were interested in him. In Ruzomberok he was appointed captain before the season 2005 /06 and then led the team to league and cup.

Norway

In August 2006 Sapara moved for a transfer fee of 1.3 million euros to Norway Rosenborg Trondheim, where he became an important part in the midfield. His first game in Norway denied the midfielder on September 10, 2006 compared Sandefjord Fotball. He is considered one of the best players in the Norwegian Tippeligaen.

Turkey

In January 2010 Sapara moved to Turkey to MKE Ankaragucu. Ankaragucu came during the 2011/12 season in great financial difficulties and could over a longer period do not pay the players' salaries. Then had a lot of players, including Sapara be exempted contractually and free transfer could leave the club. Sapara Then moved in September 2011 to the traditional club Trabzonspor. Here, he signed a three-year contract.

He was as part of release for Olcan Adın, loaned until the end of the season league rivals from southern Anatolia, at Gaziantepspor For the second half of the season 2011 /12. Here Sapara convinced right away and became one of the rising stars of the season. Although Gaziantepspor tried Sapara including release of binding per se, but Trabzonspor refused a donation. After the 2012/13 season Saparas contract was terminated.

In January 2014 he signed a contract with Gaziantepspor again.

National

Prior to his senior team career Sapara completed ten games for the Under-21 team Slovakia. His debut in the senior team, he gave in October 2005 in a World Cup qualifier match against Slovakia, Estonia.
