Margalita Chakhnashvili

Margalita Tschachnaschwili (Georgian მარგალიტა ჩახნაშვილი; born December 9, 1982 in Tbilisi ) is a Georgian tennis player.

Career

Tschachnaschwili, which began with the sport of tennis at the age of eight years, prefers playing on clay. She won so far on the ITF Women's Circuit ten singles and five doubles titles.

From the ITF she also received a wildcard for the women's doubles, the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Since 1998 she takes on Georgia in the Fed Cup. From their previous 57 games, they won 30 (March 2014).
