Margaret Eaton, Baroness Eaton

Ellen Margaret Eaton, Baroness Eaton of Cottingley, DBE, DL ( born June 1, 1942 in Bradford, England ) is a Life Peeress sitting for the Conservative Party in the House of Lords.

She was a member of the Council since 1986, Bradford and since June 2011 Chairman of the Local Government Association.

Biography

She was born in 1942 as daughter of John and Evelyn Midgley. She studied at Balls Park Teacher Training College and worked as a teacher. In 1969 she married John Eaton, they have a son and a daughter.
