Margaretha Sigfridsson

Margaretha Sigfridsson (born 28 January 1976) is a Swedish curler.

It belongs to the Skellefteå Curlingklubb and plays in the team of Skip Stina Viktorsson on the position of the lead.

When curling Jurniorenweltmeisterschaft 1997 led her to the position of the Skip the Swedish team to the silver medal. The finale went with 3-11 lost to Scotland that was led by Skip Julia Ewart.

Also as Skip, she won at the 2002 Curling World Championships in the U.S. Bismarck the silver medal. Also this final she lost to Scotland 6-5 with skip Jackie Lockhart.

In 2009, she played for the team Norberg at the position of the lead at the Curling World Championships in South Korea Gangneung, since the normally lead playing Anna Svärd was unable to attend due to her first pregnancy.

2014 she won at the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi silver.
