Marguerite Laugier

Marguerite Laugier ( born September 12, 1896 † 10 June 1976 ), born Lhomme, was a French astronomer.

She was active from the 1930s to the 1950s at the observatory in Nice. Contemporary astronomical articles they call Madame Laugier. She discovered numerous asteroids. The asteroid 1597 Laugier was named after her.

Note: Not to be confused with the man M. Laugier in the literature ( here is M. for " Monsieur " ), which is led by Paul Auguste Ernest Laugier (* December 22, 1812, † April 5, 1872 ) acted.
