Mari Molid

Mari Kristine Søbstad Molid ( born August 8, 1990 in Trondheim, Norway) is a Norwegian handball player.

Molid started playing handball at Kolstad IL. Later the backcourt player joined Byåsen IL, where she has been used for the 2006/07 season in the highest Norwegian league. With Byåsen she was in the 2007 final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, which was won by Romanian club CS Râmnicu Vâlcea. In 2012, she signed a contract with Levanger HK. From the 2014/15 season it runs on for Larvik HK.

Molid announced on 22 September 2010 her debut on the Norwegian national team. With the Norwegian selection, she won the European Championship in 2010. A year later she won the World Cup in Brazil. Molid continued to participate in the World Cup 2013.

Molid previously belonged to the squad of the Norwegian youth and junior selection. With the junior selection, she won 2010 World Cup.
