Biography

Mari Vartmann began with five years in Neuss with figure skating. Four years later, she moved to Düsseldorf EC because of better training opportunities. 2004 Mari Vartmann began with the pair skating. She is a member of the Düsseldorf EC. From January 2004 to 2009, she ran together with Florian Adj Mari Vartmann and Florian Just trained initially at Julia Gnilosoubowa. In autumn 2004 they changed their coach and were then cared for by Knut Schubert. They trained both in Dortmund and Berlin.

Mari Vartmann had to withdraw in Oberstdorf in 2006 because of a slight concussion after a fall at a lifting figure in the Nebelhorn Trophy.

The couple Vartmann / Just broke up in 2009 right after the NRW Trophy. Since then runs Mari Vartmann with the native Canadians Aaron Van Cleave. Also, this pair is coached by Knut Schubert. You train in Berlin.

Mari Vartmann is in the army since 2012 Sports soldier.

2011/2012

When training before the long program in their European Championship debut with Aaron Van Cleave there was a collision with Daniel Mari Vartmanns turn, which resulted in Mari Vartmann got a bad headache and a runner Daniel headland was damaged. 2012/2013

After a long training failure both German runners were in pair skating at the German Championship in Hamburg.

2013/2014

The couple starts with a third place at the Nebelhorn Trophy in the Olympic season and shows for the first time in two program parts of a triple Lutz litter very clean.
