In the best-seller list on the U.S. Billboard charts Maria Maria place went to 14 and stayed alone in the United States 10 weeks on the highest place.

Formation

Shortly after the foundation Wyclef Jean became aware of The Product G & B and suggested they take Mary Mary along with Mexican guitarist Carlos Santana. Santana himself had to place no chart hits in Germany since the days of Black Magic Woman and Oye Como Va in the early 70s. The Jean wanted to change. The four produced a song that initiating the big comeback of Carlos Santana.
