Maria Petrova (figure skater)

Marija Igorevna Petrova (Russian Мария Игоревна Петрова; born November 29, 1977 in Leningrad) is a former Russian figure skater, which was launched in pair skating.

Her parents are Tatjana Walterowna and Igor Nikolayevich. She has no siblings. Marija Petrowas pet name is Masha. She was a sickly child and started on the advice of her doctor at the age of seven years with the figure skating. She went to the Jubileiny Sports Club.
